Prop Risk Calculator
Enter your account size, your firm's daily and overall loss limits, and what you've lost so far — and see exactly how much room you have before the next trade.
- Free — no login
- Works with any firm's rules
- No execution, no signals
Map.Trade does not provide buy/sell signals, execute trades, or manage funds. It helps traders review historical performance, risk, and behavior.
Most prop evaluations don't fail on a bad strategy — they fail on a single day where the trader lost track of how close the account already was to a limit. This calculator keeps both limits in front of you, in real numbers, before you act.

Frequently asked questions
What is a prop risk calculator?
A tool that turns your firm's daily-loss and max-loss limits plus your losses so far into the remaining room and the largest safe loss for your next trade.
Does it connect to a specific prop firm?
No — you enter your firm's limits, so it works for any ruleset. Map.Trade is not affiliated with or endorsed by any prop firm.
How is remaining risk calculated?
Daily room = daily limit − today's loss; max room = max limit − total drawdown. The safe next-trade loss is the smaller of the two.
What about trailing drawdown?
Trailing rules are approximated conservatively; always confirm the exact mechanics (balance vs equity, and when it locks) with your firm.
Can it prevent a breach?
It shows how close you are so you can decide — it does not place, block, or modify trades. The decision stays yours.
Is this financial advice?
No. It is a deterministic planning calculator — no signals, no advice, no execution.
