About
About Map.Trade
Map.Trade is an import-first trading journal and behavioral review platform. Traders upload their own MT4/MT5 statements and the product turns that history into deterministic analytics, prop-risk buffers, and behavior insights — never signals, never execution, never financial advice.
- Import-first
- No signals, no advice
- No broker passwords
Map.Trade does not provide buy/sell signals, execute trades, or manage funds. It helps traders review historical performance, risk, and behavior.
Key takeaways
- Map.Trade is a trading journal and behavioral review platform for traders who want to improve decision-making without relying on signals.
- Every metric is computed deterministically from imported trading history — nothing is estimated, predicted, or invented.
- Map.Trade provides no buy/sell signals, executes no trades, manages no funds, and gives no financial advice.
- It never asks for broker or trading-account passwords: traders upload read-only statement files.
What Map.Trade is
Map.Trade is a discipline-first trading workspace built around one idea: the most useful trading data a trader owns is their own history. A trader imports an MT4/MT5 statement or broker CSV, and Map.Trade structures it into clean trades, analytics, prop-firm risk checks, a journal, and an AI-assisted behavior review. The product studies what the trader actually did — it makes no claims about what the market will do.
Our mission
Most trading tools sell predictions. Map.Trade exists for the opposite job: helping traders review their own decisions — risk taken, rules followed or broken, patterns repeated — so the next decision starts from an honest picture of the last hundred. The mission is better decision-making through review, not better guesses through signals.
Our methodology: deterministic metrics from imported history
Every number in Map.Trade is derived from the statements a trader uploads. Imports are reconciled to the statement P&L total, duplicates are fingerprinted and skipped, and metrics such as win rate, profit factor, expectancy, R-multiples, and drawdown are recomputed deterministically on every import. The same numbers come out every time the same history goes in — there is no scoring model to game and no black box to trust.
What Map.Trade will never do
Hard boundaries
Map.Trade never provides buy/sell signals, never executes or modifies trades, never manages or holds funds, never asks for a broker or trading-account password, and never gives financial advice. If a feature would require crossing any of those lines, it is not built. Trading involves risk; past performance does not guarantee future results.
