A price alert should help you pay attention at a level you already planned — not tell you to buy or sell. Map.Trade is building price alerts as awareness reminders that fit a review-first, risk-aware process.

How alerts will work

Level reminders

Mark a price you care about and be reminded when the market reaches it.

🛡
No signals

Alerts are awareness only — never an instruction to enter or exit.

Risk-aware

Plan levels alongside your prop-risk and position-size tools.

Watchlist-linked

Set levels on the symbols you already follow in your watchlist.

What price alerts are

A price alert is a reminder that a market has reached a level you defined in advance. It's a way to step away from the screen while still catching the moments that matter to your plan.

What alerts should not do

An alert is not a signal
A reached level is information, not instruction. Map.Trade alerts will never say "buy" or "sell", never auto-execute, and never imply an outcome. What you do at a level is your decision and your responsibility.

Risk-aware alert planning

Levels are most useful when they're tied to a plan. Pair alert planning with the prop-risk and position-size calculators so a level reminder comes with a pre-decided risk, not a reaction.

Status: coming soon

Price alerts are in development. In the chart workspace you can preview the idea today as a clearly-labelled "coming soon" panel — no alerts actually fire yet, and nothing is faked. We'll announce when real alerts ship.

Frequently asked questions

Are price alerts available now?

Not yet. They're in development and shown in the chart workspace as a clearly-labelled "coming soon" preview. No alerts fire today and nothing is faked.

Will alerts tell me when to buy or sell?

No. Alerts are awareness reminders that a level you set was reached. They will never include buy/sell signals, recommendations, or implied outcomes.

Will alerts execute trades?

No. Map.Trade has no broker connection and no execution. An alert can notify you; acting on it is entirely your decision in your own platform.

How is this different from a signal service?

A signal service tells you what to do. An awareness alert simply marks a price you already planned to watch, so you stay disciplined instead of reactive.

Can I plan levels today?

You can plan levels conceptually using the watchlist and risk calculators now; the alerting itself will arrive when the feature ships.
