MT5 Statement

An account history export from the MetaTrader 5 trading platform.

Definition

An MT5 statement is the equivalent history report from MetaTrader 5, the newer version of the platform. It contains the same idea — your closed trades and their results — in MT5’s own layout. The journal recognises this layout so importing stays a one-step process.

Example

You export your MT5 history report and upload it; the app detects it is an MT5 file and maps the columns for you.

Frequently asked questions

HTML or XLSX?

Both MT5 HTML reports and XLSX exports are supported.

Why do my totals differ slightly?

Commission and swap are sometimes split across rows; the importer nets them.
